To vote in the Palm DAO, you will need to collect your POC (proof of contribution).
The POC is available to claim here: https://palmdao.app/ogpoc
If your wallet is not on the allowlist, you will get the error message “you are not eligible”. You can join the community telegram group to learn more about how to get on the allowlist.
The number field, will be pre-populated with the next available number, but if you wish to select a number you want, you can type it in or press the arrows:“random button” on the right-hand side of the field, which will pick an available number for you.
Red = That number POC has been claimed already and is not available. Please choose another number.
Amber = That number POC is being claimed by another participant. You can still try to claim it, but if your claim is unsuccessful, you will lose the $PALM you spent on gas. If you are OK with that, try to claim the POC by pressing “Take a chance”.
Green = That POC is available and not being minted by another participant. You can claim immediately with no issues.
Once you have clicked the claim button, you will then need to authorise your web3 wallet to make the transaction.
Your browser-based wallet, will display something that looks like the following:
The important thing to note is the estimated gas fee. As we are working with nano Palm, it’s too small for the wallet to recognise it without fiddling with settings. As you can see, the gas fee is 0, the total is 0, and there are no errors, so it's fine to press confirm. You will be paying for this from the nPalm that was distributed to whitelisted wallets.
Once you have claimed your POC you can return to your dashboard
